Blessings for Ben [and me]

My friends threw Ben [and me] a baby shower yesterday. The gifts, beautiful flowers used for decoration, words of encouragement and reminder that I have gracious support system all blessed me greatly. I didn't really know I was [emotionally] at a place of needing something like that. But I was. And I got.

And, seriously, aren't those hydrangeas pretty?

Emily made this beautiful, beautiful quilt. I really appreciate the fact she took the time to make it for Ben and even incorporated colors from his room. Definitely a special gift.

One friend even thought to give Cate a little present so when I came in the house with arms full of presents for this baby brother we keep talking about she wouldn't feel left out. Good thinking, Molly.
