Luke celebrated his second birthday yesterday. The beauty of birthdays falling on Saturdays is the party gets to be on the actual date! (OK, maybe that's only a beautiful thing to planner like me!) When it came to opening presents, I witnessed a stark contrast to his first birthday. Those of you with older kids know ... It went MUCH faster this year. (I like learning these things since Cate is a year younger!)
Luke's four-day old sister was even among the guests!
Luke got many vehicles (trucks, cars, a plane, a boat ... even a steam roller!) for his birthday. He even brought one along when he ate his cake! I tell you, this boy is into cars!
Cate gave Luke this Doodle Pro. And you can see that she enjoyed it too! That's Luke and Cate with Achazia, who is two weeks younger than Luke.
Apparently Luke needed to take a break from playing and give Cate a kiss. I caught him making the move!
I think Cate was glad when she could play by herself ...
... and then she really got into it. (Good thing she has a smaller version coming in a few weeks!)
Yay for Luke! It looks like he scored big in the toy-vehicle department. :) And Norah is beautiful! I can't wait to meet her.
