I am managing an amazing lake house that's available for vacation rentals in addition our own two lake properties {Vacation, anyone?} and want to build a freelance promotions company doing this kind of thing and other publicity projects.
And, most importantly, I want to be a mom who serves my family, embraces imperfection and lives in the moment.
As I read "You're Made for a God-sized Dream" by my virtual friend Holley Gerth, it's as if she heard me list these dreams and cheered me on with God's word and anecdotes from her own life. But she didn't stop there.
Holley writes soft-spoken truth. "You're Made for a God-Sized Dream" officially releases today. Go buy it.
Her words encouraged faith, challenged me to take steps, cautioned me that others may not see my dreams like I do, helped me realize God has been preparing me for this, and reminded me that my actions toward dreams are really about serving the Giver of these dreams.
"You don't have to be ready. Conditions don't have to be perfect. Because it's not about you. It's about God fulfilling his purposes through you, and he has always been able to make that happen in spite of our humanity and the fallen world around us."

"While we don't get to live in those places right now, we still have the ability to capture a bit of both in our imaginations. Eden reminds us of who we're created to be and heaven reminds us of where we're called to go."

I received a free, advanced electronic version of "You're Made for a God-sized Dream" as part of Holley Gerth's Dream Team, but these opinions of the book are my own. I've mentioned the book at least a couple of times already {Stop Delaying, Start Doing. Bring Him Glory.} and I'm sure I will again. This post contains affiliate links. Want more?
