Worth Repeating Wednesday

Stop chasing perfection and let God make your way perfect, as the psalm says (Psalm 18:32). His definition of perfect will probably not look the way yours does. God cares about your heart and the heart of your children. He understands that you can never be perfect and he loves you anyway.

* I haven't actually read this book, but I loved this quote Teaque [who used to blog ...] shared with me. Now the book is on my to-read list. Lisa TerKeurst is one of several authors who write devotions that appear in my inbox.

  1. Did you really just link to my non-existent blog?!? It's awful AND so not the house we bought either LOL too funny - *I* hadn't even been on there to see what I posted last - sure wish I hadn't talked so babyish in that video - uggg... yes I'm too critical and yes there is a chapter on that in the book - LOVE IT! But know that it's kind of a Bible study too so just keep a notebook handy to write stuff down in.

  2. I love your book quotes - I always get a little inspired by them! Your kids are so precious. I would love to know some of your favorite books - parenting and non. I love asking that question to other avid readers because I always get new titles to add to my "to read" list. Hope you are doing well!
