If you ever happen to be near a soccer field with 4-year-olds playing, you should really stop and watch. Rather entertaining, to say the least.
Nephew Elijah had a game this morning; although I use game lightly, as you will see.
Here's Elijah. Pay particular attention to his left hand ... Yep, he's holding an Oreo that stayed with him the whole time. He may have eaten it after the game when he got another snack. A trade-off, I suppose. Also, you'll notice the corner of the field in the background. Yep, he's running beside the field.
Elijah eventually decided he wanted to play ...

Cate watched rather intently, probably trying to devise a way to get her hands on one of those soccer balls.
Elijah practiced a little during half time.
And then there was Cate in the grass. You'll remember that she was a bit hesitant before. Still hesitant, especially with her bare legs.
I think she needed to take a break from holding her legs up. But just a break ...
