Is she a good eater?
Well, yeah, actually she is.
I think.
That's one of those questions (Is she walking? Does she sleep through the night? Is she a good eater?) that people -- friends and strangers alike -- ask. I always say she is. Because I think she is.
But I'll let you judge for yourself.
This was what she ate yesterday. Although the food selection varies each day, I consider yesterday a typical day.
BREAKFAST: A banana. A whole, rather large, banana
AFTER MORNING NAP: Sippy cup of whole milk
LUNCH: A hot dog, 1/4 hot dog bun, pile of gold fish
AFTER AFTERNOON NAP: 1 1/2 graham crackers, sippy cup of watered-down apple juice
DINNER: Chicken teryaki (the portion size that goes on a 6-inch sandwich at Subway), a normal-size container of yogurt, wheat crackers, 1/2 cup watered-down apple juice
BEFORE BED: The other 1/2 of the watered-down apple juice
And to top it all off, she learned this week how to say "juice." It's really cute to hear! Besides "uh-oh" and "oh, wow, wow, wow," that's her first word, like she knows when to say it and what it means.
