9. Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

In fact, I used these verses when I gave our adoption testimony at church this morning. I'm thankful for these words, and others, that can encourage + teach. And, even more importantly, I'm thankful for the peace of God, that does indeed transcend my understanding.
