And every birthday needs some ice cream, right?
Although unsure at the beginning, Cate finished the baby cone.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Dairy Queen in Murray, well, you're missing out. But, so you don't feel left out, you should know that it's an old-fashioned, walk-up window with a couple picnic tables. It's open from March through October. And, rumor has it, the establishment still serves the old-fashioned ice cream recipe, which is supposedly creamier, and, probably, fattier. Even so, it's tasty.
Oh, and, baby cones are a bargain at 29 cents.
Ahhh, how precious! She caught on quick! :) And your letter to her on the post below brought tears to my eyes. Thanks, Kristin! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how I am missing the cherry-dipped cone. That is the only place I have ever found it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Cate!!!
Cute!
ReplyDeleteThere's this awesome ice cream place up here that is called Handel's. It's THE BEST ice cream I've ever had. They give the little kiddie cones away for free and put little candies on them to make them look like eyes. Too cute.
